Phone Systems

There are more than 100 different Phone Systems manufacturers worldwide. The leading suppliers include Samsung, Panasonic, Avaya, Mitel, Cisco, Alcatel and LG.

Some are clearly designed with budget in mind while others will provide easy capabilities to link offices and remote workers around the globe in a single solution.

The technology is now very advanced allowing often a pick and choice menu to customise the solution that best fits your business.

We believe that the way you communicate with your clients and they with you, is vital to optimise staff time and customer perception.

Don’t just compete with your competitors if smarter telecoms solutions can help you to get ahead of them.

Systems start from as little as a single line with a few telephone extensions all the way to globally meshed and integrated unified communications solutions covering thousands of employees.

IP Technology

Previously all our communications ran over copper networks and the internet did not exist. As a result voice travelled in waves. Nowadays due to vastly improved network and the development of the Internet Protocols (IP) voice travels the same way as data on our IT networks using binary code. This has resulted in the capability to use Voice over internet protocol (VoiP).

There are 3 types of solutions that use VoiP:

  • Part IP enabled telephony systems
  • Whole system IP working
  • Hosted VoiP

Part IP enabled telephony systems/Whole system IP working

A system normally sits in your workplace and works off BT landlines or a good quality internet or fibre connection. Phone systems provide a better level of resilience as they are dependent on the quality of the internet connection.

Hosted VoiP Solutions

Sit in a data centre through which all the inbound and outbound traffic is made. The resilience of your telecoms services is totally relying on the quality of the network links.

Mobile Communications has vastly changed the way we work. With the introduction of Apple and Android Devices we now have the added benefit of visualising our communication.

We can help you to find the best and most cost-effective solution for you and your staff with all the main network providers - O2, Vodafone, EE & others

You can now also integrate your mobile with single landline and hosted VoiP solutions. Linking it with your office desktop phone brings your own device to the workplace.

Virtual Attendant

More and more companies are now starting to use virtual attendant services. Your clients can call into a non-geographic number classically 0300, 0800 numbers where they are directed to speak with the right person in your business. This provides lots of professional features such as call queueing, music on hold, call forward, voicemail, call recording etc.

Follow Me Services

“Follow me services” are great services for small businesses where often you can be in different locations and want to make sure that you can capture those all-important incoming calls and turn them in to business. If you are out of reach the service given to the inbound caller is so professional, they are happy to leave a message rather than calling a competitor.

Multiple Device Services

Multiple device services are ideal for busy offices where staff are in and out of the office. Your office desktop phone, your mobile and your laptop or iPad can all be enabled to ring at the same time or in sequence, providing maximum flexibility.

Network Services

There are many Network Services available, but the market place is changing. The most common line types are Analogue Lines and Digital Lines in 2 varieties. Either ISDN2 being 2 digital lines of ISDN30 commonly with 8 or more digital lines. BT has announced they are phasing ISDN2 out so now is a good time to start exploring your options. Due to the cost of ISDN30 and the reduction and increased coverage of fibre optic solutions, many companies now upgrade to Fibre Solutions.

CRM Integration

You can vastly improve the way to contact and are contacted by your clients by utilising CRM integration.

In essence this links your client database on your IT network direct with you phone system as the record pops up on in and outbound calls.

It is done via a network standard called TAPI and works on systems that are TAPI compliant.

In some cases the system you may have or are looking to buy integrates directly with this software, in other cases you may require an amendment to the software called Middleware to make the solution work.

Call Management

Call management is a facility that has been utilised by hotels to allow guest billing and by a variety of companies to have a complete record of all the calls that are made and/or received.

The analytics available can help you to make your business more time effective, thereby saving you money and improving customer perception.

Call Recording

Most business phone solutions now allow you to use Call Recording as a means to help with staff training, reduce abuse staff may get and to create a legal record of a conversation so that any agreement made is legally binding.

There are two Call Recording types namely recording on demand which is an instant recording that goes into your voicemail box and from there flows into your email as a WAV file as a permanent copy for storage. There is also permanent call recording which is either as a stand alone package added to the system or is part of an integrated solution.

Voice Recognition

Voice recognition is becoming more popular now. It allows you to use auto attendant facilities but fully integrating it with voice prompt, replies and automatic guiding of the caller to the right department

Billing Solutions

There are many ways in which you can receive your current bills for hardware, maintenance and network services and likewise the way in which you in return can invoice guests, tenants or departments. Feel free to ask us about a Billing solution that may suit you best.
