Air Source Heating is a low carbon heating system, using electricity to transfer heat from one place to another.
The pump absorbs heat from outside air into a liquid refrigerant, the pump then compresses the liquid to increase its temperature, before condensing back into a liquid to release its stored heat.
Although the pump uses electricity to run, the heat output is greater, making it an efficient way to provide heat.
